  2. Really, a stroke of genius on the part of producers. The episode was fufilling, and gave all of us a great look at some of what goes into a real movie.

In all seriousness, the resemblance of Pablo and Vince in makeup was scary good; he had Escobar down pat, so much so it makes me wish Adrian Grenier wwas really considered for the real Pablo Escobar film.

Sofia Vergara as the Colombian actress=breathtaking! What a talent she is!

  3. To Be Honest I thought it was a decent episode but in the opening credits Debi Mazar is replaced with Perry Reeves(Mrs. Ari) does this mean she isnt coming back? anyways steven gaghan was genius and adrian really looked like escobar and was doing a great portryal of Escobar when screaming GOAL!!!, then ruthlessly shooting a kids dad in the head overall 9 out of 10 for Welcome To The Jungle

  4. The episode was interesting to say the least. Yes, Vince did look somewhat like Pablo Escobar. The mustache was a lil on the thin side. I’m sorry to say Brian, Vince….well Adrian didn’t have Escobar down pat that well at all. When he was speaking in Spanish…to be quite honest…it was quite amateur and very very weak. Escobar’s voice should be more commanding and powerful. Vince’s strength in his voice was quite timid. It actually reminded me a lot of Brendan Fraser’s funny Spanish accent as the Colombian drug lord in Bedazzled…LOL. When you see Fraser’s accent as this character, you can’t help but laugh you’re head off. Whoever’s fault it was for Vince’s weak and pathetic accent on this episode, should be executed like the man that had the same fate in this episode by one of Escobar’s henchman. Entourage has usually kept their high level of delivering the goods for each the episodes. I’m sorry to say this was by far one of the weakest ones. The main reason, that funny accent. What the hell is Billy’s problem screwing up and acting like a lil bitch. Over a girl he’s crazy about on first sight. Sure, I agree Sofia Vergara is smoking hot. Common Billy, you said in a previous episode that doing a movie about Escobar was your dream. You’re dream comes true, and look at you, so unprofessional all over a girl. Billy was usually portrayed as a no nonsense badass who delivers the goods. This poor baby, psycho, who’s doing the girl in my movie that I can’t get attitude, it’s very sad.
They mentioned in another episode before Vince got Medellin that Benicio Del Toro was going to play Escobar. They should have kept him. Vince in this series is to be somewhat compared to as the next Leo. At least when Leo does a major movie that requires an accent for the part, he gets the accent down. Vince/Adrian should’ve watched Scarface about 100X, he might have learned a lot more how to pull off a more believable Escobar. To think they’re spending 30Mil on this movie. Everything looked good, just get Vince to do a proper accent and make his voice stronger when speaking.

I hope that the rest of this season doesn’t follow the strength of this first episode. If it does, then Entourage is doomed. Common guys, don’t drop the ball on any other episodes. Keep the bar high as you usually do.

  6. Hey Mike……..no shit sherlock it was a fake film. I wasn’t reviewing it in any way like a real film. If I have to dumb it down for you a little, then I will. What I meant is that Entourage always sets the bar high and delivers what they set out to do. This episode was very weak, that’s all. FYI, I do have an awesome life. As for grip, sorry, I don’t need to get a grip. I leave that job for my babes. ;-) Feel free to go ahead and get a grip of your ownself since it seems you’re quite bitter and lonely. Go out and get laid for once. LOL..Lighten up already. I wasn’t making this episode or series to be turned into an Oscar winning movie. As they usually do on Entourage, when they do something, they do it properly. The mustache, they went to the extent of good makeup, then what’s the problem with putting on a fuller more believable mustache?? That accent he put on, I’m sure almost anyone who’s watched any well done drug film can do a better accent. If you’re going to do something, then do it properly, or don’t do it all. Or better yet, get someone else who will do it well.
